It is unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately!) not possible to reach Madonna di Campiglio directly by from the highway nor by train; it is served by a mountain road. To limit traffic and avoid your driving worries, we suggest the option of public transport: a favourable choice both for you and for the environment.
By Bus
Both in the summer and the winter seasons inter-regional bus connections operate from Milano, from Brescia and from Trento.
By train
The closest train station to Madonna di Campiglio is Trento, with a distance of 70km. From here continue the trip by bus in direction Tione – Madonna di Campiglio – Campo Carlo Magno. The bus station is directly next door to the train station.
Should you travel with “Freccia” trains, a convenient transfer will be arranged with their specific “Freccialink” bus.
By car
From highway A4 Milan-Venice: exit Brescia east in direction Lago/ Lake d’Idro.
From highway A22 Brenner-Modena:
• From south (eg from Verona): exit Rovereto South towards Garda Lake North (90 km from toll booth) OR exit Trento South, follow indication for Trento Centro/Bolzano towards Strada Gardesana di Trento (75 km from toll booth)
