Hiking and cycling
Madonna di Campiglio and the Rendena Valley offer many kilometres of trails ranging from lower lying pathways to the high “vie ferrate”. To reach the huts and lodges at high altitude, take advantage of the summer openings of the cable car system. For cycling fans, a cycle lane runs along the whole Rendena Valley or for the more adventurous, venture the mountain trails for mtb.
Culture
In case of rain? It’s the perfect moment for history and art. A short distance away is the Ancient Glassmaker museum in Carisolo, the Alpine Pasture Museum in Caderzone, the War Museum in Spiazzo, the ethnographic collection of Casa Cus in Darè.
Not to mention the many appealing frescoed little churches throughout the valleys Rendena, Sole and Non. Only a little further away, an interesting visit to the Castle of Stenico or to the Castle of Caldes.
